I found your CD, Fields Far Away, complex and deep. It has a mystical
quality. The music is very powerful. The words are soft and inviting. Music
occupies a very special place in my life. Musicals are among my favorite
forms of entertainment and enlightenment. I like your CD very much.
...After hearing the clips, I must say your band is quite able to present
the"Great Mystery in our lives" and do it in a real, emotional
way with great depth. Yet, you can still put what the German's call "Fuer
im Arsch(fire in the ass)" with some punchy segments. and it is all
well in context, with a very good flow. The cordal progressions evoke
that "aha" feeling in the environment you portray, which is
missing from most music in the last 20 years. All that from 20 sec clips...

"It was a real buzz to get your CD. I'm IMPRESSED! I have listened
to it 8 times now! I must admit the very 1st time I listened I found one
or two tracks slightly dis-jointed (only very slightly mind), then I realized
it was just part of the overall impact. I love the contrasting styles through
out the piece. It really helps to focus on the individual MSG of each track.
The whole concept is really different from anything I have heard before
(thus fresh). Funny thing is by the 3rd time, I could see it being done
as the stage show.
I played it to a critical friend who's view's I respect. She was so
impressed from the very first time played. It is a real emotional roller
coaster and thus exciting, realistic and inspirational. I have total respect
for you and your friends work. WELL DONE.
