Jess Walking Horse Palomino
is of two Nations. Shoshone and Mescalero Apache. Jess traveled between these two Nations until he became of age when he joined the U.S. Armed Forces where he served for nine years.

Fred Running Bear Popejoy
is of many Nations including Anglo. Brought up on the white path he also served the Armed Forces for nine years, although at an earlier time than Jess.

      These two paths soon crossed and they became as blood brothers and they discovered that they had a common talent for the telling of legends and stories.

      Together for many seasons, they have told their stories at numerous functions including pre-school through college classes, Hospitals, Museums, Librarys and Park Districts.
Most of their stories are animated and some audience participation is desired.

      A one hour program consists of some of the following stories:
