Dave Robison
I have always had the ability for music. Even at three, I could play
on the piano, songs I heard on the radio. Support was lacking in my music
and today not much has changed. In 1979, I heard a new album for the first
time. It basically changed the course of my life. That album was Pink Floyd's
"THE WALL". Their use of symphonic instruments in mood altering
tones was amazing. I began to get into Styx, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Jethro Tull, Roger Waters , and Yes. This what I realized was
exceptional music.
I bought a new keyboard called a Juno 106. I got into bands and played everywhere
I could, but eventually, playing someone elses music became less satisfying.
Oh, it was fun and all that, but inside, I had a lot of dreams. I've hooked
up with "Fields Far Away" and it has been an amazing experience
in my life. A dream come true. I know you too, can become inspired from
the beauty and symbols of hope found in "Fields Far Away". |
