Donna Sweikow

I was invited to join forces with Angstrom Productions officially in August of 1995. We are a small core group of five, working together to share a wonderful concept and beautifully expressed musical production with the world.

I became friends with Dave Robison while participating in the Antelope Valley College "Test Flight" commercial music program and networking through the pursuit of my music dreams. Early in 1994, Dave shared with me early samplings of "Fields Far Away" music and I had been intrigued from the start. I told David to keep me in mind if he were ever to need assistance with the project, and he did. In July 1995, a meeting was set up to meet Jeff Timpe, the composer. That night my head swam -- I listened to the music, sang a little and the energy took hold. A force of enthusiasm was generated and on my way home I saw the most incredibly vivid shooting star - COINCIDENCE???

On an overcast morning, two days later while on my way to work, I put my copy of the "Fields Far Away" tape into my tape player. At the moment when the music portraying the moment of recognition that the figure person realized his potential to make things happen comes only from within.... well, just like in my own personal movie, the sun burst through the clouds sending golden streams of sunlight before my eyes and I knew in my heart that this just wasn't another coincidence. These were my signs that I was meant to somehow work on this project.

I have both strong business and musical skills from my background: singer/performer, customer service, human resources, benefits administration, accounting, marketing and retail management. I feel that everything that I've done before has prepared and brought me here, and I'm now ready to learn more! I know people working together can make anything happen. I'm happy to be teamed with Jeff and Susan Timpe, Stuart White, and Dave Robison. Together we are the nucleus of a dream we will share with the entire world - through "Fields Far Away".
