Stewart Meredith

Stewart began playing keyboards at an early age and switched from classical music to performing in rock bands just as the portable synthesizers were becoming available. His interest in the technical side of things led him to a varied array of engineering and session jobs and countless hours in the studio and on the road with such artists as Leon Russell and Jimmy Hotz.

Songwriter, Singer, Keyboard player, part time engineer, and jack of all trades, Stewart has formed and fronted several bands a chief songwriter and lead singer and began putting his own home studio together after the demise of his last band. "I was caught in this continuous cycle of flakey bandmembers and producers etc. I had to buy the gear and become self-sufficient".

After a year and a half hiatus from performing live he has emerged with new material and a solid musical vision. "I'm really just combining all the elements that I like from spacey electronic and ethnic to mainstream pop".

His latest collection of songs, brought to life by his unique trademark high tenor voice is evidence of a strong understanding of what constitutes great pop music and his programming and playing contribute to a very individual and original sound.

Stewart is currently living in Los Angeles and composing music for "one of the coolest futuristic software/hardware companies around.

Currently seeking a deal with a label sharing the vision and forward thinking attitude to effectively market his music.
