SONG FIVE "Moments"
windows audio
Time a word, it passes by. Life a world, it passes you by
When I think of you Moments in special Moments
I have touched a sky of never ending rainbows
Time is but a word...it passes by.
Moments ever stay.
Life is but a world...it passes you by.
When I think of you
Moments in special Moments
a starlight lifts our eyes
to a place where life once told you...
to love...it told us to love. It told us all to love
I won't let this word go, to the call of changing seasons
You and I are the reasons, for a future just begun to realize
Little boy and girl on a sidewalk
strolling along blue summer day.
Dreaming of gold and colored rainbows,
they dance in the mist some call child's play Roses are red skies are blue
Heaven is near I'm thinking of you.
Roses are red skies are blue
Heaven's above I'll wait there for you.
I won't let this world go (imagine there's a Heaven)
the one people call child's play (it's easy if you try)
As David views the moment, "child's play" transforms into a vision. His playmates are making their way via a procession of horses under a canopy of falling rose pedals thrown by a cheering crowd. What was once a little girl playfully taunting Jesse with a long daisy, is now seen as a Queen touching her protector's shoulder with a sword in royal ceremony.
As the children play, David hones in on this moment of reflection. Somehow he knows this time of innocence is limited. He takes it to heart like a shining jewel and seals it for all time, promising to never let go.
The dream dissolves with the sound of a distant church bell prompting chatter by the children that it's time to leave. David tucks the tree house plans in his back pocket and the three leave their rolling fields for home.
